Tenerife beaches: atlantic pleasure

The main tourist center of Playa de las Americas is perfect for those who want a bustling beach on their cheap holiday to Tenerife. This beach is sheltered and has calm waters, perfect for sunbathers and families with children, and it backs onto a terrific promenade that is packed with shops and restaurants. If a busy nightlife is just as important to you as relaxing on the beach in the day, Playa de las Americas is right next to the islands best clubs.

Las Teresitas beach

At Los Cristianos you’ll find every imaginable tourist facility from sun beds, shades, showers to a wealth of water sports. You can jet ski, water ski, surf, hire pedals or go banana riding.

There is a great choice of restaurants and cool bars and some of the best night life in the Canary Islands as well. Playa Jardin is Puerto’s main beach and is rarely crowded. The promenade running alongside is lined with cafés and bars.

Jardín beach is a real natural beauty of the island with several gardens created along the edge of the sand strip. It has the full range of facilities, as well as a horizontal breakwater that protects part of the swimming area. Spend some fabulous days on the sunny beaches of Tenerife by booking holiday homes and apartments.

Playa de las Teresitas, at Northeast of the capital Santa Cruz, this is the best sand beach on Tenerife and surprisingly quiet outside summer weekends. It is crescent shaped, lagoon-like bay with golden sand surrounded by crystal clear waters.

La Candelaria

The perfect setting is completed by the palm trees and the dramatic mountain backdrop. The artificial reef makes the enclosed water ideal for families with young children. There’s large car park discreetly hidden behind the line of palms at the back of the beach.
