Bajamar and Punta del Hidalgo: atlantic tranquility

This once quiet fishing village is one of Tenerife’s oldest resorts popular with families and couples looking for a relaxing holiday, with many holidaymakers returning year after year. These apartments is particularly popular with German tourists.

Bajamar

Bajamar

As Bajamar is located on the North East of the island, due to the rough waters of the Atlantic Ocean, it makes it virtually impossible to swim directly in the sea, which is why the two purpose built sea pools are so popular. The sandy beach offers an ideal place to sunbathe and safe place for children to play. The beach front has good facilities including showers, changing area, bars and restaurants.

There’s more to the resort than just the beach and sea pools, Anaga Mountains are right on the door step and are ideal for an escape away from everyday stresses with beautiful walks and stunning scenery. In the resort is the tiny chapel of San Juan Bautista which dates back to 1628, excellent to explore.

Punta del Hidalgo

Punta de Hidalgo

Punta de Hidalgo is located on the Northern coast of Tenerife in the area of Anaga Massif. The village is suitable for those wishing for a quiet relaxing holiday or those wanting to explore the area.

The area is dominated by vegetation including tabaibas, cacti, palm trees and banana plantations.

Los Rodeos Airport is approx 18 kilometers away from the resort.
